Are you getting all the benefits you're entitled to?

At South West Aberdeenshire Citizens Advice Bureau we can help you with a range of benefit issues with respect to your circumstances.

We advise you to bring any of the following documents with you to allow us to make the best possible assessment of the situation:

  • Confirmation letters of current benefit awards
  • A note of your council tax banding
  • A note of your gross or net earnings for 'in work' benefit calculations for present and previous year
  • A note of all other income e.g. pension, bank interest, etc
  • Copies of any letters/emails you have sent or received regarding your benefits


South West Aberdeenshire Citizens Advice Bureau will never ask you to provide confidential, financial or banking details by telephone or email.

We can evaluate your benefit issues and refer you to our specialist advisers, if necessary.  Whilst we cannot guarantee representation, we can offer detailed advice about appeals procedures and social fund reviews.  If you require such help, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
